DSE is proud to announce our partnership with Leonardo DRS in developing a rugged display unit for the Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS) Directed Energy (DE) Stryker prototype
This next-generation program features C-UAS capabilities to detect, identify, track, and defeat enemy UAS using kinetic and directed energy technologies. DSE was previously involved in two additional C-UAS Army programs of record led by Leonardo DRS, M-SHORAD and M-LIDS.
Leveraging this experience, and its proven FHDRM display technology, DSE developed the FHDRM17-C23. This advanced 17” display features full high-definition resolution and a PCAP touch screen with multi-touch and zoom functionality. The display is also equipped with a DisplayPort input that is converted to HD-SDI, eliminating the need for a dedicated video conversion system and enabling greater SWaP efficiencies. The FHDRM17-C23 configuration is built on the field proven backbone of the FHDRM and is designed to adhere to MIL-STDs 810, 1275 and 461.
In the C-UAS Directed Energy (DE) Stryker prototype, the 17” multifunction display will enable gunner and commander stations to interpret battlefield data, command and control onboard effectors, and gain overall situational awareness outside the vehicle.
We are thrilled to collaborate with Leonardo DRS on this innovative program exploring the next-generation of C-UAS protection for allied forces. View a short video from Leonardo DRS to learn more about this program, or, to learn more about DSE’s cutting-edge C-UAS solutions, contact our team.
