Electrical Design Engineer

Position Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Scottsdale, AZ

Position Type: Full-time

Job Summary: We are seeking a talented Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components for a number of systems including multi-function displays, computers, and video management systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proficiency in electrical design tools and software, and a passion for innovation and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop circuit card assemblies, cable harnesses, and user interfaces from concept through production.
  • Create detailed electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation using CAD software (e.g., Altium, AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical).
  • Perform calculations, simulations, and analyses to ensure designs meet technical specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and technicians) to integrate electrical systems into overall product designs.
  • Prototype and test electrical assemblies and subsystems to validate performance and reliability.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for proposed designs.
  • Identify and troubleshoot electrical design issues during development and production phases.
  • Participate in design reviews, project meetings, and customer interactions as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in electrical design and development.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design (Altium, AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical principles, components, and systems (analog and digital circuits, power electronics, etc.).
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and requirements (CE, UL, IEEE, etc.).
  • Ability to analyze complex technical problems and propose innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Operator

Position Title: SMT Operator

Location: Scottsdale, Arizona

Position Type: Full-time

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Operator to join our manufacturing team. The SMT Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining automated SMT equipment to ensure the efficient production of printed circuit card assemblies. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, technical proficiency in SMT processes, and a commitment to producing high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate SMT machinery and equipment according to work instructions and specifications.
  • Load and unload components onto SMT machines, ensuring proper alignment and orientation.
  • Monitor production processes to maintain quality and efficiency standards.
  • Perform regular inspections and tests on SMT equipment to ensure functionality and identify issues.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities and equipment maintenance.
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and resolve issues.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in SMT operations preferred.
  • Proven experience as an SMT Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in setting up and operating SMT equipment such as pick-and-place machines, solder paste printers, and reflow ovens.
  • Strong understanding of SMT processes, component types, and assembly techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and production schedules.
  • Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment interface.
